Open Water (Private Class) – $490.00**

This is the best class we offer. This class is for the student that wants to set up a schedule for themselves. One on one instruction to get you from non-diver to Open Water Diver. Get certified in as little as 3 days.

You may just want to do the class on your own so you can complete the water training without having to worry about anything but what you are doing. This is the right class for you. Work around your schedule with the instructor. Books are included with this price. The gear needed is also included. The only gear you are required to have: mask, snorkel, fins and boots. Take advantage of our student discount of 20% off a package purchased with our dive center.

You will be required to watch the DVD and complete five knowledge reviews prior to class. Each section of the DVD corresponds with the five chapters of the manual, as well as show you what you will be doing on your first day in the water with the equipment in a pool or local fresh water spring. On the first day, you will be meeting with your instructor to go over your book work, complete the quizzes and final exam. If you have not been able to complete the knowledge reviews or watch the DVD to completion, you will complete that as well. Day 2 -You will be meeting your instructor for the Confined water sessions at a local pool or possibly Deleon Springs. This will be determined by your experience and the needs of your individual schedule you will make with your instructor. Generally you will meet at the local pool to initially learn how to SCUBA dive and become familiar with all of the skills required. Day 3 – You will now be ready for your first and second Open Water dives and continue with dive skills necessary for your certification. If you are on a 3 day schedule, you will complete these on Day 2 as well. Day 4 – You will complete your Open Water dives 3 & 4 and more skills to complete your training. Once finished here, you will be a certified PADI Open Water Diver. You depth limit will be 60ft.

Open Water (eLearning w/ completion dives through Discover Diving Dive Center) – $350 + $179**

Should you need/wish to complete your class work online due to time limits, call the dive center and pay for your e-Learning course ($179.00) and we will e-mail your online code to start and complete your book work. Then come into the dive center to pick up your crew pack with all of the paperwork and necessary files you will need for class.

With this course you’ll complete all of you academics on-line before you come into the shop for a fitting of the gear you will be using for class. All gear rental is included with the exception of your own personal snorkeling gear of a mask, snorkel, boots and fins. Special discounts for students who buy their gear at our dive center will be given, just ask about our class discounts) You will be scheduled for your days needed to complete the water skills. Once this course is completed you will be an Open Water Diver with a limit of up to 60 feet/ 18 meters, with no need to be accompanied by a Divemaster or Instructor (unless you want one). Of course, you will still need a buddy to dive with. Besides, it’s easier, it’s safer and more fun with a dive buddy! If we are unable to work you into a regular scheduled class, the price for this course may increase. This will depend on your ability to be placed into a class already scheduled.

Open Water (Group Class) – $290.00 **

This is our most economical way to learn how to dive. This two weekend course will take four days to complete and the crew pack purchase is a requirement for the classroom session on your first day. Complete the bookwork at home and be ready for the review on the first day of class.

With this course, you’ll be in a classroom of up to 6 others finding out “the way the world learns to dive”. With this four day course, you get to meet people, go places and do things. Your Master Scuba Diver Trainer will teach you some basic skills you will need to have, as well as the knowledge to become an independent diver. Once this course is completed you will be an Open Water Diver with a limit of up to 60 feet/18 meters, with no need to be accompanied by a Divemaster or Instructor (unless you still want one). Of course, you will still need a buddy to dive with. Besides, it’s easier, it’s safer and more fun with a dive buddy!

You will be required to complete five knowledge reviews prior to class. You may choose to purchase the crew pack from us ($110) and rent the DVD for $35 ($30 store credit upon return of the DVD) or complete the PADI e-Learning course online ($179). Each class will consist of two weekends in a row. On the first day, you will be meeting with your instructor to go over the completed five knowledge reviews, take quizzes and a final exam. (e-Learners will take a short quiz and get fitted for gear on this day) On the second day, your confined water sessions will take place at Aqua Park located in Edgewater, FL in the Summer and DeLeon Springs in the Winter. The following weekend you will be finishing any confined water sessions that may need to be completed and move onto your first two Open Water dives at Deleon Springs. Finally, on the last day, you will complete Open Water dives 3 and 4 during the winter months at Blue Grotto, in Williston, FL (additional fees apply $40.00 per person) or during the summer months at Blue Springs (springs fees of $4 per person or $6 per car). Congratulations! You are now a certified PADI Open Water diver, certified to dive upto 60 feet.

Open Water (Semi-Private) – $390.00 **

With this class you have the benefit of being in class with friends and/or family, or other Semi-Private students, up to six people but at least 4 students. You also have the benefit of talking with the instructor for a specialized schedule for the group.

Learn and laugh together in a safe way, as you are taught by one of our Master Scuba Diver Trainers. We will work with the group on scheduling dates, that work for everyone, to complete your certifications. We have a fun and safe environment to make sure you all learn the precise way to scuba dive. With our semi-private/group classes, you won’t be disappointed.

You will be required to complete five knowledge reviews prior to class. Purchase of a PADI Open Water crew pack will be necessary to do this ($110). Each class will consist of two weekends in a row. As well as rent the Open Water DVD for $35.00, upon return of the DVD on the first day of class, we will apply a $30 in-store credit on your purchases that first day of class only. On the first day, you will be meeting with your instructor to go over the completed five knowledge reviews, take quizzes and a final exam. On the second day, your confined water sessions will take place at Aqua Park located in Edgewater, FL.
